Our service includes getting quotes from several moving companies and choosing one, after consulting you first. On request, we can also be present on move-in day. Furthermore, we can arrange for the apartment to be cleaned before your arrival and any necessary repairs to be made. Finally, we would happily help you register with the local authorities and arrange basic utilities such as gas, water, electricity, telephone and Internet connection, etc.

Administrative procedures

We can make official phone calls on behalf of you and accompany you through all administrative procedures, whether you need health insurance, want to apply for a visa or residence permit, or need to register with the local authorities. If you wish, we can also help you complete lengthy forms, interpret for you in conversations and provide translations of official documents.

Official translations of your personal documents

You might need official translations of your documents (curriculum vitaes, motivation letters, references etc.). We supply these with or without certification and translate in all directions between German, English, French, Spanish and Chinese.

Are you looking for a flat in Berlin? Short or long-term? To rent or buy? We help you search, organise viewings and give you advice on different areas and housing quality. We represent your interests and help you negotiate in meetings with your estate agent, solicitor, or landlord. We can interpret for you during conversations and provide the translation of important documents.

Job-hunting and self-employment

Searching for a job? Need advice on where to look or simply assistance job-hunting? We are here to help. We can provide you with information on the local and national job market, put you in touch with relevant contacts and offer competent advice.

Perhaps you want to set up your own business? We can support you, take care of all administrative matters and connect you with experts (tax accountants, payroll offices etc.).

We also offer help concerning recognition of your foreign degrees and certificates.

Finding a school

Wondering which nursery or school is suitable for your child? We can inform you on schools in Berlin, contact them for or with you, or help find a babysitter. Should it be a bilingual institution? A public or private one? What opening hours should the nursery school offer? We choose the right institution for your requirements and your child’s welfare.

Language courses and cultural training

Languages are our passion! We offer language courses for small groups, as well as individual lessons tailored to your level and needs. People from other cultural backgrounds can benefit from our cultural education and learn about everyday German customs and manners, and how to react to them appropriately.

Leisure activities

We offer shopping tips (Where can I buy something? Who offers the best prices? Where can I get good quality products?) Of course, we also offer advice on going out in Berlin: restaurants, going to the cinema or theatre, dancing etc. – always tailored to your personal taste and interests…

We will do everything to make your departure as smooth and hassle-free as possible. This can include coordinating moving companies, workers and cleaners. In addition, we can help you notify the local authorities and terminate utility contracts such as gas, water, electricity, and telephone and Internet connections upon your departure.
